WHAT GRP MEANS
Glass fiber reinforced polyester (GRP) pipes are pipes made of a composite material consisting of polyester resin reinforced with glass fibers. These pipes are strong, lightweight, and resistant to corrosion and chemical attack. They are often used in the construction of chemical plants, wastewater treatment facilities, and other industrial environments where durability and resistance to harsh conditions are important. GRP pipes are also used in some residential and commercial plumbing applications because of their resistance to corrosion and ease of installation. GRP Pipes are manufactured in accordance with local and international standards as EN 1796, EN 14364 and etc.
Standard Length is 6 or 12m as can be produced with different length upon customer request.
Starting by non-pressure class GRP can be up to 40 bars pressure (PN) depends on the requested diameter (DN).
Stiffness Class (SN) can be 2500, 5000 or 10000 N/m2 and shall be determined by project design authorities as per project characteristics. In special project requirement SN class can be inceased or adjusted.
LONG SERVICE LIFE
GRP Pipes and Fittings are manufactured to give 50 years and more service life.
EASY INSTALLATION
Having coupling as joining method GRP pipes can be installed for a very short period and without any special equipment, compared to other materials.
